Your First Visit
Initial appointments are usually one to one and a half hours to allow the Practitioner to take a detailed
assessment of your condition. Assessment of a patient's health and their presenting condition is based on diagnostic
techniques including pulse diagnosis and observation of the tongue, and face.
The information is interpreted in light of the patient’s medical history, the physical environment they live and work in, their family history and emotional life.
Follow-up appointments are 40 minutes.
Please ensure that you have had something to eat and drink before you come to your appointment. Please do not consume alcohol prior to your treatment. It is recommended that you wear loose, comfortable clothing.
Do the Needles Hurt?
The needles are very fine, much finer than those used for injections.
On insertion, you should not feel the needle, but you may feel, momentarily, a slight numbness,
tingling or bruised sensation.
The needles are left in for up to 20 minutes, during which time the patient is able to relax completely.
Music is available to aid relaxation.
Are The Needles Safe?
All needles used are disposable and have been pre-sterilised to the highest standards. The needles are opened in the presence of the patient and safely discarded after use.
